Sustainability
Here at Russell’s Fish and Chips we like to do things simply – and we want to be doing it for a long time to come. That’s why we use sustainable products whenever we can -this includes the oil that we cook our fish in, the source and supply of the fish, especially the Cod.
We have signed up (and encourage anyone we know) to the Hugh’s Fish fighting campaign – you can read a little more here.
We try and buy local too. The oil comes from down the road at Cotswold Gold as do the vegetarian pies – from Lynne Thomas at Vermontier.
We’re not trying to win any awards – we’re just trying to do our little bit in any way we can.
